Asthma is very disturbing, and the majority of people with asthma use of certain medications to ease the symptoms. But people with asthma should begin to be careful, because there are several drugs that are considered aggravate asthma symptoms they suffered.
A study tried to relate the relationship between acetaminophen (commonly also called paracetamol or Tylenol) with asthma. Research published in the journal Pediatrics, written by Dr. John McBride, citing previous studies, in which the study involving 520,000 children in 54 countries.
From these studies note that a child aged 6-7 years who consume this drug, the possibility that he suffered asthma symptoms will worsen to 60%.
Another study also showed similar results, only the study involving children aged 13-14 years. As quoted from the Daily Mail, the study found that those taking acetaminophen, likely will worsen asthma symptoms is about 40%.
From these scientific studies experts eventually concluded that drugs such as acetaminophen increases the risk or exacerbate asthma symptoms in sufferers, both in children and in adults. Medical experts also warn that we should all be careful because not all drugs are safe for consumption.
