It’s quite a lot of research showing that consuming unhealthy foods can lower sperm quality. This time the scientists are trying to do more research related to sperm quality and lifestyle (including what kinds of foods are good for the sperm).
The study led by Edson Borges involved about 250 men in Brazil and conducted by the survey. Each participant was given a question about how often they consume fibrous foods such as fruits, vegetables, or grains. They also asked whether they frequently eat meat, fish, or consuming alcohol and cigarettes.
After the survey was conducted, the participants also underwent tests to determine the quality of their sperm. Sperm quality in question is the concentration and also the velocity of sperm to fertilize the ovum.
From these studies note that those who regularly consume fibrous foods (fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds) have a better quality sperm than those who like to eat meat. And the participants who drank alcohol and smoking are known to have worse sperm quality than other participants.

From this study the scientists also suggested that men consume more foods such as fruits, vegetables, and grains such as wheat to improve the quality of their sperm. Researchers are also advised not to consume too much meat. By lowering the consumption of meat, can increase the quality of sperm.
